Under Fitness Equipment

A good piece of fitness equipment can transform your body in a matter of just a few months.
But what equipment should you buy for the home that is neither too large nor expensive, but provides you with the workouts you need to tone your body and hone your fitness? Well, as you know there are literally hundreds of options for home gym equipment so I am going to talk about some specific pieces of equipment in this article and tell you what they do. Your goals and budget will determine whether one or more of them are suitable for you.
Rowing Machines
These are machines that people don’t often consider first for their home gym but they are worth putting on your list. Rowing a boat is one of the best upper body exercises around and copying this in your home without getting wet means that your arms, shoulders and back will benefit. Lower body strength is also utilized with your legs required to push back when rowing.
Treadmills
The most popular home gym item is the treadmill. These days they are all electronic and provide many features such as uphill climbing which significantly increase the effectiveness of your workout and results you’ll get. The great thing about treadmills compared to outdoor running is that there is usually some cushioning when you land so you are not risking knee, ankle and shin injuries.
Exercise Bikes
For cardio work, cycling works wonders. The exercise bikes are generally more comfortable than a regular bike and let you exercise inside when the weather isn’t right.
Elliptical Trainers
If you have knee problems then you’ll enjoy an elliptical trainer and although they may seem awkward at first, you feel like you’re walking on air when you get the hang of it.
Dumbbells
Whilst not strictly considered ‘fitness equipment’, dumbbells are so versatile that they provide a surprising amount of possible exercises. You can work your arms, back, mid section, legs and more using dumbbells with varying weights. They are also the cheapest home gym equipment.
It is worth paying more for quality fitness equipment rather than choosing the cheapest ones. Cheap equipment may work well for a while, but over time it wears out significantly faster than good brand models. In addition, quality equipment will provide smoother action and a general sturdier feel.

Life fitness is a manufacturer of exercise equipment like treadmills and home gyms. They invented the original LifeCycle and are well known for producing high quality fitness equipment.
This article will introduce you to some of the best and most recent Life Fitness products so that you can become informed enough to make the right decision about the best fitness equipment for you. Remember; exercising at home does not have to be expensive if you know how to choose the right equipment.
Life Fitness provides both cardio and strength training equipment.
Treadmills
Their treadmills include the F3 Treadmill which is a foldable treadmill that comes with either the Basic or Advanced Workouts Console according to your choice. The T3 Treadmill is another top seller. It is a very sleep looking treadmill with all the features you need.
Elliptical Cross Trainers
The Club Series Elliptical Cross-Trainer is the home version of the model that is used in fitness clubs, so you know you are getting a top product. Or perhaps the X7 Elliptical Cross-Trainer will be more to your liking as it uses the excellent Whisper eStride feature which makes it an ultra quiet machine.
Lifecycle Exercise Bikes
These bikes hardly look like bikes but give you the same excellent workout in complete comfort. The R9i Lifecycle Exercise Bike is the home version of the Lifecycle bike found in health clubs. It is feature packed and is self powered. You get the health club-derivative console and wireless heart rate sensors.
Life Fitness equipment is of a high standard so you only have to buy it once. What does that mean exactly? Often, people will buy the cheapest fitness products they can find at their local department store. They may get a few months of usage out of it but then it breaks down. Because it was so cheap, they simply replace it with a new cheap one and so the cycle goes until they eventually spend more money than a high quality product. Instead of buying the same product over and over again, you can get it right the first time by choosing Life Fitness.

If you are a busy Mom who is at home all day then you probably struggle to find time to do chores, let alone to exercise. But home fitness is something you should get into if you want to maintain your own health, and set a good example for your kids. When your children see you exercising they will want to join in too when they are old enough.
There are so many ways to exercise at home and the best news is that they are not time consuming.
Skipping
A skipping rope costs $5 and can be used to assist in weight loss and cardiovascular improvement. Doing 100 skips per day will take you around 5 minutes – everybody has a spare 5 minutes and this is the very best way to make the most of that time.
Step Machines
These are very affordable home gym pieces which you can use for just a few minutes at a time. They are great for busy Moms at home as you can store it anywhere (it’s very small) and simple take it out for a quick 100 steps exercise. You will feel puffed out but invigorated!
However keep in mind there are two types of step machines: those that are very large with handles like a treadmill and those that simple have to foot holds and a bar to adjust the resistance.
Weights
Buying some light to medium weights will add a new dimension to your exercise. You can buy small dumbbells that don’t have interchangeable weights and these are great to hold on to when walking. You can also buy ankle weights to add some resistance to your legs.
That means you can benefit from cardio as well as pushing your muscles a little harder at the same time.
Doing house chores burns a surprising amount of calories. Vacuuming and cleaning can wear you out and can even be considered part of your exercise plan.
Remember, you don’t have to spend a fortune or spend hours working out each day. Home fitness for busy people can be achieved with some simple equipment and the motivation and desire to improve your health.

Fitness gyms: they are locations that consist of many amenities and services which are available for usage by paying members. These can include but are not limited to:
- Gym rooms
- Fitness classes
- Personal training
- Swimming pools
- Spas
- Massage rooms
- Sporting courts
- Boot camps
In addition to having access to some or all of the above facilities, the benefits to attending fitness gyms may seem obvious, but they are often forgotten about when you are caught up in reviewing membership plans, prices and contracts. Ultimately your original aim when joining a fitness club was to improve your health and fitness.
These are the top three benefits to taking out a membership at a fitness gym:
1. All Round Workouts
If you are working out at home you may be stuck with just one or two pieces of equipment due to budget and space constraints. At a gym you pay a small amount to be able to use the very best equipment there is including weight machines that cost thousands of dollars.
2. Personal Support
There are always trainers and instructors on hand at fitness clubs to answer your questions and to pass on advice. You should take advantage this as much as you possible can as they are professional and can truly help you.
3. Classes
Classes add a whole new dimension to your fitness. When you work out in a class you don’t get time to sit down and feel tired, or talk yourself out of doing it. Because there is a set time and place to attend, you feel obligated to do so and as such you will not pull out like you might if you were simply going to a personal workout session. This extra incentive, combined with support from class members and the instructor, means that your fitness levels will increase fast.
Getting fit is not rocket science but it does take commitment and a long term outlook. Each time you complete a workout session you can be happy in knowing that you are one step closer to achieving your ultimate goal!

Fitness training should be fun. Although it is normal to not feel like working out from time to time, your motivation should be high enough that you look forward to exercising and seeing the results.
When you work full time, have children and have a household to run it can be very difficult (some say impossible) to find time to exercise. But exercise is as important as ever at this busy time. Exercising gives you the energy you need to get through everyday so fitting it into your busy schedule is vital.
These fitness training workout ideas for busy people will show you that anyone can squeeze in exercise regardless of how busy they are.
1. Get Up Half an Hour Earlier
Getting out of bed just 30 minutes earlier is not overly difficult, particularly when you are used to it. Use this time to go for a brisk walk outside, or to step on the home treadmill for 20 minutes.
2. Lunch Time Exercise
If you get an hour for lunch at work, use half of it for exercise. You can go for a quick jog or bike ride, or even use your company’s gym if they have one. Make sure you eat lunch after working out instead of before it.
3. Get Some Dumbbells
Dumbbells are an amazingly versatile piece of exercise equipment. They can be used for arm exercises and even leg workouts. 10 minutes of dumbbell training per day will give you some amazing results in a short period of time.
4. Grab a Skipping Rope
Got 5 minutes to spare before starting dinner? Step outside with a skipping rope and skip 100 times. It is very fast, but will have you sweating and your heart will be pumping.
These 4 super quick fitness training workout ideas for busy people prove that working out does not have to be time consuming. In addition to the above, your regular house work chores and walking around during the day will also contribute to your fitness – but consider these as extra bonus points rather than being the sole contributor to your health and fitness.
